We offer contract field work and petrological analysis of rock and mineral samples for the mining, petroleum and industrial minerals industries. The following services are offered:

Petro1: General Petrology of Rock Samples

Petrological analysis of rock sample. Includes major and minor mineralogy, texture, structure and genetic interpretation. Analysis includes a written report with interpretation of coarse sample, thin section and XRD scan. Price: AU$200.00 All inclusive.

Petro1a: Whole Rock Chemistry Addon for Igneous Rocks
Standard whole rock analyses by XRF and interpretation of results. Interpretation includes composition, normative mineralogy, chemical classification and genetic classification. Price: AU$150.00 extra

Petro5: Diagenetic Petrology of Rock Samples

Petrological analysis of rock sample with emphasis on reservoir characteristics and post depositional alteration affecting porosity and permeability. Core1: Core Logging

Logging of drilling core/cuttings Price: AU$200.00 per day plus expenses.

Field1: Field Work

Geological field work Price: AU$200.00 per day plus expenses

Terms and Conditions

Allow 3-4 weeks for completion of petrological work.
Samples submitted should at least 200g in weight. Processed stream sediment samples should be at least 50g in weight.
All payments for lab work must be made in advance by check or credit card. Field work is paid 50% up front, 50% upon completion.
All work is guaranteed.
